This book explores broad concepts related to visual arts practice, such as color, scale, and abstraction, along with academic and scientific texts about those terms.

This book includes interactive elements that may give a didactical comprehension of the concepts shown. Even if these elements refer to a traditional “activity book” more associated with children, the content is more specialized. This book can also offer the opportunity to learn more about those concepts to someone unrelated to the art field.

Studying those concepts is essential to understanding the origin of the judgments we make empirically, but that might have a scientific or psychological undertone that would help explain why we, as artists, are inclined to a particular formal solution over another.
